ClickUp export: the official steps
How to download your ClickUp data
- Click your Workspace avatar and select Settings.
- Select Imports / Exports, then Export Items.
- Choose the Spaces, Folders or Lists to export and click Start Export.
- Click Download Export and save the CSV (ClickUp also emails a link).
ClickUp says admins and owners can export task data, that export links expire after one hour, and that very large Workspaces may fail, so export in smaller locations. Docs export separately as PDF, HTML or Markdown.

Common questions
Can I sell my company's ClickUp data?
Generally yes, if the company owns the account and the data is about its own operations. It's licensed with identifying details removed, and anything you hold for clients stays out.
How much is ClickUp data worth?
It depends on history, detail and what else you combine it with. Use the estimator above for ClickUp alone, or the full calculator to include every system.
Do I need to export ClickUp before getting an offer?
Not to get an estimate. Buyers start from your intake answers and review a sample. If you're closing, export before you cancel, since deleted accounts usually can't be recovered.
Do I keep my data?
With a license, yes. You keep the business and the data, and the license covers defined material for a defined term.
