Export Notion Workspace Content: The Whole Workspace
Here is how to export notion workspace for the whole company. One export for the whole workspace, as HTML or Markdown with every uploaded file. Here's the menu path and the catches.
Go to Settings, then General under Workspace, and select Export all workspace content. Pick HTML or Markdown and CSV. Notion emails you a download link, which can take up to 30 hours for big workspaces and expires after 7 days. Other people's private pages aren't included.

Step by step
01Open settings
On desktop or web, click Settings in the sidebar.
02Go to General
Under Workspace, select General.
03Export all workspace content
Click Export all workspace content and choose HTML or Markdown & CSV. Markdown is easier to reuse. HTML looks closer to Notion.
04Wait for the link
Notion emails you when it's ready. Big workspaces can take up to 30 hours.
05Download within 7 days
The link expires after a week. Download it and store it somewhere you control.
06Catch private pages
Ask teammates to export their private pages, or move work pages into a shared Teamspace first.
How to find the size of your Notion data
Notion doesn't show a single size number. The export ZIP size is the easiest measure. Note how many years of docs, and how much is SOPs, meeting notes and decision records versus empty pages.

Common problems
- Export button missing. You may not be a workspace owner, or exports are disabled on Enterprise.
- Pages missing from the export. Private pages of other members aren't included.
- Link expired. Run the export again. Links last 7 days.
- Can't re-import it into Notion. The export is an archive. Notion can't rebuild a workspace from it.
